Raised in Dublin, Ireland Ray fell in love with hip hop early in life and it seemed like he was the only one who got it amongst his peers. He started freestyling in highschool and making fun of kids at lunch. After getting in fights and suspended multiple times, he lost interest in his education and began slangin. He hit the gym to protect himself and started training MMA. Manager Jake Kelley discovered his talent when he was 25.
