Standing at a relatively small 5' 11, Dagur fancied himself something of a giant slayer in the heavyweight division, akin to the Norse god Odin, whose legend tells of his slaying of the ice giants. Perhaps then, it is fitting that his surname would imply relation to the revered god.  A highly touted wrestler in his native Iceland, 'The Blood Eagle' seeks to rule over MMA's land of behemoths, and to convince others that maybe his name isn't as hyperbolic as it seems.
