Tong was trained from a young age by legendary Muay Thai trainer Yodtong Senanan. After Yodtongs death in 2013 Tong vowed to honour him by destroying any man foolish enough to fight him. After running out of willing challengers in Muay Thai Tong decided to make the switch to MMA.
