Boris was a very promising hockey player in his youth. Praised for his crunching open ice hits and eagerness to drop his gloves, he was drafted in the 7th round by the Philadelphia Flyers. But his tendency to go nuts over nothing lead to trouble in the minors where in one game he mauled six of the opposing players, the two referees, his coach, a reporter and the zamboni. After that he was banned from hockey forever. Now in MMA he gets paid to maul people, as long as he leaves the ref alone...
