Roy has always been rebellious, something he himself attributes to a messed-up childhood, he feuded with his parents, who parted when he was young & left him vulnerable & floating from care home to care home, in trouble with authorities from a young age his last social worker got him into a Karate class as a last resort to curb his destructive tendencies after he committed arson. Recently Roy took part in a documentary about MMA.
