Gabriel Torres grew up doing hard labor on a Peruvian farm until he was 15 years old. After moving to Los Angeles with his family, Torres quickly took to wrestling and won his high school championship. "The Tarantula" focused on BJJ and MMA after high school before he was bit by a radioactive Tarantula. It had no effect on his health or career. Just a fun fact.
