A former two-time golden glove champion, Rockford was one of the nation's top amateur boxers. At the age of 20 Rockford was selected as an alternate for the Men's US Olympic team, but a failed drug test for Marijuana metabolites kept him from attending the games. Tired of boxing and it's olympic Level drug testing policy, Rockford has begun to focus full-time on his MMA career.
