July 19th | Red Light is making its return to Helsinki for their 7th numbered card, held in the Malmi Sportshall. This event has a focus on the welterweights, with six fights in the division, 14 fighters are coming in undefeated, showcasing the new era of fighters the promotion is comprised of.
In the Main Event, slick boxer Jack Dempsey "The Manassa Mauler" (2-0, 1-0 RL) takes on fellow KO artist Charles "Doo Wop" Da Bronx (3-0, 2-0 RL), both men have yet to see the final bell, and with both being similarly skilled, this is sure to be one of the best stand up fights in Red Lights history. Interestingly Dempsey is as at around a -450 favorite, lets see if the oddsmakers are correct.
Comain: two of the welterweight divisions most dangerous fighters meet as Msck "MJD" Jella Daddalena takes on Chad "AI" Gepte (3-0, 1-0 RL). Being the top welterweight fight of the night, these men want to put the division on notice in a fight with FOTN written all over it. An interesting note to look at is MJD’s wrestling and Geptes BJJ purple belt if the fight makes its way to the ground.
Light Heavyweight (205lbs): Frank Chavez (3-0, 1-0 RL) vs. Jonas Right (2-0, 1-0 RL)
Chavez, an expert in the clinch, takes on Jonas Right, a fighter who has proven to be dangerous everywhere in this top Light Heavyweight matchup.
Welterweight (170lbs):
Milton Wells (3-0, 2-0 RL) vs. Marcus Rios (2-1, 2-0 RL)
Two welterweight finishers, both Two and O in Red Light clash in a striker vs grappler matchup with big things at stake, only one thing is certain, you won't want to miss this one.
Welterweight (170lbs): Jihyo Park (1-0, 0-0 RL) vs. Samuel Hency (3-1, 0-1 RL)
Hency suffered his first defeat his last time out to Comain fighter, MJD, in a fight of the night affair, now he aims to get back to his winning ways as he takes on dangerous grappler “Bor”, making his Red Light Debut.
Welterweight (170lbs): Hindustan Bharat (1-0, 1-0 RL) vs. MC Grindah (1-0, 1-0 RL)
Bharat looks to cause a major upset as he takes on MC Grindah, who is an over -1000 favorite, both men have good striking and wrestling, we’ll see if Hindustan can pull of this true underdog tale.
Welterweight (170lbs): Colby Ray (2-1, 0-0 RL) vs. Elias Moreira (1-1, 0-0 RL)
In the first of four consecutive welterweight bouts, two QFC Tournament 1226 competitors clash in a striker vs grappler matchup, with both dropping their last fight in the way the other wants to win.
Light Heavyweight (205lbs): Giorgi Kalatozi (0-0, 0-0 RL) vs. Mishka Amaro (0-0, 0-0 RL)
Two twenty year old fighters making their pro debuts meet in a fight between two of the division's most well rounded young guns.
Welterweight (170lbs): Clodoaldo Rocha (0-0, 0-0 RL) vs. Brycen Aulay (0-1, 0-0 RL)
Opening up the welterweight festivities is an appropriate fight between two eighteen year old fighters in the opening fight of their Red Light careers. Rocha will most likely want to keep the fight standing which Aulay likely will oblige to.
Light Heavyweight (205lbs): T To Fight Jackson (0-3, 0-2 RL) vs. Brad Wagnar (0-0, 0-0 RL)
Opening up the card, the first of three light heavyweight fights occurs as Wagnar looks to start his career in the win column, while Jackson wishes to also get his first win, and snap this streak that started his career.
