Raised on Steel Reserve and the occassional MD20-20, Shawn Silvia was born with a handicap - fetal alcohol syndrome. Against all odds, Silvia has overcome this and pursued a career in MMA.
Some say his handicap is an unfair advantage, as he has limited to no feeling of pain. He might not be strong, skilled or talented. But one thing is for sure; Shawn Silvia can stand in the ring and fight. |
